Safeguarding

Staff and governors at Trinity Primary School view the safeguarding of our pupils of paramount importance.

We believe that :

  • everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play;
  • in order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, our school adopts an approach that is child-centred. This means that we consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child;
  • no single member of staff can have a full picture of a child’s needs and circumstances. If children and families are to receive the right help at the right time, everyone who comes into contact with them has a role to play in identifying concerns, sharing information and taking prompt action.

The school takes its statutory duties very seriously and uses the following documents to guide all policies and practices.

Mr James Richardson

Designated Safeguarding Lead

Deputy Safeguarding Leads:

Mrs L Manning, Mrs A Lemar, Mrs S Sampson, Mrs J Bryan, Mrs C Taylor
