Curriculum Overview

At Trinity, we live out our HEART values to provide inspiring teaching within a supportive learning environment, empowering all children to achieve their full and unique potential. Our curriculum offers a wide range of experiences and enrichment opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. The curriculum is planned with a focus on progressive learning, ensuring that our pupils acquire a deep understanding of the knowledge, vocabulary and skills required for them to thrive in the next stage in their education and develop as life-long learners. Our aim is that our pupils are challenged to be independent thinkers, learners and communicators, who are able to seek solutions creatively and cooperatively. We intend to inspire our pupils, through highly engaging learning experiences, to nurture resilience, curiosity and creativity and to make school a place where all children can enjoy and celebrate success.

We ensure that all subjects, based on the National Curriculum expectations, are mapped out across the school to ensure a clear progression in knowledge within and across year groups, supplemented by enriching events and experiences tailored to our school context.

To find out more information about our curriculum, please see termly newsletters that outline foci for each year group. These newsletters can also be accessed through contacting the admin team at admin@trinity.hereford.sch.uk or contacting class teachers.
