What are Houses?
There are four houses at Trinity Primary School, they are based on four local castles; Ludlow, Raglan, Chepstow and Goodrich. Each week House points are collected in and tallied up and displayed on the House board and on our website. This encourages each house to work as part of a team. At the end of the year the house with the most points wins the cup.
What are the House Captains?
There are two House Captains and two Vice Captains for each house. These elected captains have campaigned through individual presentations to their houses at the end of year 5. They have then, been nominated and elected to represent their house throughout year 6. They are later awarded their badges in front of the whole school.
What must House Captains do?
They must set a good example all the time and be responsible because they are asked to do jobs and help out around the school. Sometimes, showing visitors around the school or sometimes helping younger children.
House Captains must be efficient as the whole school relies on them.
House Captains must support the ‘Positive behaviour strategy' and help the rest of their team to do the same.
